Netflix’s series “Money Heist”
Spanish series ‘La Casa de Papel‘ aka ‘Money Heist‘ is Netflix’s one of the most hit series of all the time. It is based on El Professor, who starts collecting con-artists and criminals together to pull off the ultimate heist of the Royal Mint of Spain. Later, the people and the police got manipulated for a mission.
Part 4 is already expected to come in 2020, but nothing is yet confirmed. It had turned out to be one of the most-watched Netflix series.
Red Chillies Entertainment purchased the rights
Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment has purchased the rights of this Spanish series. It is speculated that he is planning to remake it as a Hindi film.
Netflix series adapted by SRK
‘Money Heist’ is the third of Netflix’s series adapted by SRK, after ‘Betaal‘ and ‘Bard of Blood’. ‘Betaal‘ is the second Netflix series after Bard of Blood that stars Emraan Hashmi and will be out on September 27.
‘Money Heist‘ was introduced to SRK by one of his partners. He loved the show and thought of it as a good script for a Hindi feature film.
The actor might be taking his acting projects slow in order to focus onto the production projects. SRK is now turning more into production rather than acting nowadays. A team of writers is currently working on SRK’s script.
Although there is no confirmation of SRK being a part of it as an actor yet, at this point he is only producing it. Adding cast would be decided on the basis of the script.
In a recent event, he dubbed Mufasa and his son Aryan Khan gave voice to Simba for the movie ‘Lion King‘.
The adaption of ‘Money Heist‘ is in scripting stage right now, and SRK’s production house is working on it. His last production ‘Badla’ was also a remake of Spanish film, The Invisible Guest.
SRK’s previous film, Zero, didn’t perform well on the box office. Hence, he is now careful to pick his projects. And there has been speculation regarding his next project.
