Meghan wrote all about her Hart in her blog!

Earlier this month, Meghan posted a blog ‘My Hart’ where she shared the news about her son’s condition. She wrote that Hart has minor Periventricular Leukomalacia on both sides of his brain and he is at a risk for being diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy.

She also wrote that she always knew from the moment he was born that Hart was different. The nurses of the hospital struggled to keep his legs straight while measuring his length.

She further added, “He suckled hard, shallow, and often until I bled and he spits up black.” Meghan said that she always knew he was different. Always.

Meghan’s support system is her husband Jim.

Throughout her stressful journey of Hart’s diagnosis, Meghan mentioned that she has had her husband to communicate with to whom she admitted being still married to, even when Jim has had inappropriate conversations with another woman.

Meghan said that it the first time in weeks that she had gone out for dinner with her husband when she told him about Hart’s condition. She mentioned that it is not a compromise or punishment that they have a child with special needs but rather it is a BLESSING. It, of course, doesn’t mean that all of this doesn’t make them sad but they are just hoping for the best.
