Rick and Morty Season 3 ended nearly two years ago. And for now it’s the fourth season, a big star has been confirmed. The episode count is also revealed ahead of its panel as a part of its San Diego Schedule.
The entire list is HERE!
The show has now confirmed guest list including one of the MCU’s most famous, and colorful, personalities. Spoiler: He’s made of rocks. And we know who?
The showrunners Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland confirmed that coming new season will be 10 episodes. This will be the same amount of both season 2 and 3. Although the first season still leads the way with its 11-episode run. That’ll bring the series to 41 episodes in total. Next to several can easily pass by with more 60 episodes in hand.
It features stars from the beyond!
Justin Roiland said that guest list includes Paul Giamatti, Sam Neill, Kathleen Turner, and Taikia flippin’ Waititi. Oh, yes.
Waititi has a lot on his plate. With big responsibility of Thor 4, he also has some voice acting work under his belt in the MCU. Having played Korg in both Thor: Ragnarok and Avengers: Endgame, as well as starring as droid IH-88 in the upcoming Star Wars Mandalorian show.
Alongside some new guest stars, Harmon and Roiland have teased the return of one of Rick and Morty’s wild and wonderful cast of trademark one-shot characters.
Harmon said, “There’s going to be a couple of Meeseeks popping up here and there.” Although co-creator Roiland is adamant these sorts of returns won’t be without a good reason, “We would only bring back a character if it was a good idea. If it was clever, we would do it.”
Meeseeks worth 10 episodes, Taika Waititi, and who knows what else? There are much more teasers and spoilers to come out. Only a handful of details are spilled until now. Big stars are coming in and we can’t wait for it to air.
It is going to be one hell of a ride watching Rick and Morty season 4 which airs this year. A lot of surprises await the destination and plenty of fan theories yet to be built.
