Who knew Tom Holland would one day caution us about spoilers?
Toward the start of the new trailer for “Spider Man: Far From Home,” released Monday morning, the British entertainer cautions fans not to watch the trailer except if they’ve seen “Avengers: Endgame.”
“The ‘Spider-Man: Far From Home’ trailer is about to play,” Holland says. “But if you haven’t seen ‘Avengers: Endgame’ yet, stop watching, because there’s some serious spoilers about to come up. If you have seen ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ enjoy the trailer.”
Holland’s notice was essential as the new action pressed trailer opens to a tremendous and unfortunate “Endgame” spoiler: Iron Man a.k.a Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) is dead. Thanos may have been crushed – because of Iron Man’s chivalry. However, a world without Iron Man has Peter Parker wrecked.
“Wherever I go, I see his face,” Holland’s Spider-Man discloses to Happy Hogan (Jon Favreau). “Moreover, I just truly miss him.”
“I miss him as well,” Happy answers. “I don’t think Tony would have done what he did on the off chance that he didn’t realize that you would have been here after he was no more.”
The recording at that point flashes to our cordial neighborhood hero sending a telephone call from Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) to voice message. As we probably are aware from past trailers, Fury needs Spider-Man’s assistance to shield against animal assaults. In spite of the fact that Peter concurs, he actually simply needs to become more acquainted with MJ (Zendaya) better and make the most of their European get-away.
The trailer affirms a MCU multiverse as Quentin Beck/Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) is presented as from a different universe.
“Beck is from Earth, just not ours,” Fury says. “The Snap tore a hole in our dimension.”
