Netflix released trailer of ‘The Perfect Date’ recently. Internet cant stop rooling over the cast. It is based on the book The Stand-In by Steve Bloom and is written by Bloom and Randall Green. Way back in 1985, Bloom wrote the screenplay of The Sure Thing. However, it turned out to be best romantic comedies ever of that time. So now fans have lots of hopes from ‘A perfect date’ too.
Noah Centineo aka Peter Kavinsky already stole everyone’s heart when he appeared in To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. He became the new RomCom sensation. He will now be seen in ‘A Perfect Date’. But seriously, how much Noah Centineo is enough Noah Centineo?
Centineo plays Brooks Rattigan, a high school senior who desperately wants to get into the Ivy League. Furthermore, he looks up to Michael Jordan, Steve Jobs and Elon Musk, so when he thinks about his bright future, he’s thinking mogul thoughts. Brooks learns that the cousin of a guy he doesn’t like needs an escort to a dance? And the guy is being paid to take his cousin to a dance?
Of course, in need of money, a cool car, and extracurriculars. Brooks decides to jump in and take over the job. He’ll get paid to take the girl out, he’ll be a perfect date, and he’ll get to drive the guy’s car. Furthermore, the girl he takes out is not boring but extra punky. She’s played by Laura Marano.
