Toni kipa and Siobhain McDonnell are appointed as new senior producers for the hit 105’s Breakfast show. Siobhain Mc Donnell on her selection said, “I can’t wait to swap my thermals for thongs and come back to Brisbane! I grew up listening to the iconic B105 breakfast show and that was how my radio love affair began. I’m excited to get started with Stav, Abby, and Matt. I am looking forward to plenty of laughs, plenty of Number 1 results. Also, I am looking for plenty of decent Aussie coffee!”
Moreover, Toni kipa on becoming the new senior producer of breakfast show expressed, “My very first shift in radio was at Southern Cross Austereo, like an over-eager 17-year-old! Safe to say, I’m super excited to return to the SCA family with a head full of knowledge. I am on a body clock primed for 4 am starts.” Both the new producer will join their roles in the coming week.
Furthermore, hit105 is a commercial FM radio station broadcasting in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It broadcast on a frequency of 105.3 MHz, and is part of Southern Cross Austereo’s Hit Network. The station was previously branded as B105 following its conversion from AM to FM. This lasted until a co-branding as “Hit 105.3 B105”, then as “Hit B105”. It finally dropped the “B” reference to its present brand identity “hit105”. The B had referred to Brisbane.
However, Hit105 Content Director, Mathew Eggleston said, “It’s certainly an important task choosing the right people to lead our wonderful and tight-knit Breakfast Show, but I have no doubt these two amazing Producers, with their wealth of experience and positive energy, will guide the team to even more incredible things.”
