Generations of musical history have unfolded on the grassy acres of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. This week marking two decades of action in Indio.
Moreover, the show has evolved in surprising ways. Since it began as a desert setting for the best alternative rock, hip-hop and EDM of the moment. No single timeline could contain its full story. But some moments have been especially meaningful.
Now, here comes the good news for the music lovers. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has announced its set times for 2019. Thus signaling the beginning of festival season as well as set conflict complaint season.
Certainly, The first weekend starts Friday, April 12. This with performance of Childish Gambino headlining. Also with beloved K-pop group Blackpink and actor/rapper/singer/songwriter Jaden Smith among the acts. The lineup for Saturday, April 13 includes Weezer and Idris Elba. Well this is before Tame Impala wraps up the night on the main stage. While Bassnectar closes out the Outdoor Theatre Kid Cudi ends the evening at the Sahara Tent. And on Sunday, April 14, you can see Khalid, Bad Bunny and Lizzo before Ariana Grande closes the festival.

Also, an encore performance happens at the Empire Polo Club Friday. This from April 19, through Sunday, April 21. And the April 21 show includes an Easter Sunday special performance. The performance is with Kanye West in the campground Sunday morning.
