President Donald Trump always had issues with southern border. He has now started to threaten that he might close the border. This is because a lot of people migrate to the United States via Mexico. This has been going on for a while now.
“I will close the border if Mexico doesn’t get with it,” Trump said at a press conference from a couch at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. “There is a very good likelihood that I will be closing the border next week,” he added.
The reports say that the number of immigrants are continuously increasing. There are a large number asylum-seekers and other migrants that come to the U.S. without authorization.Trump’s threat has come out of sheer frustration as Congress has refused to fund his border wall issue. Trump has also improvised the plan that the numbers of asylum-seeker families shall be reduced to a certain count. And they must follow “Remain in Mexico” policy.
Trump has made such threats earlier but never acted on it. The agency was not planning border shutdown for another week said Department of Homeland and Security.
The officers are being reassigned to the areas between the ports of entry. This is because a large number of people sneak in from these areas.
