Huawei P30 Pro has already created a lot of hype before its launch. The Huawei P series are scheduled to launch on March 26th in Paris.
Huawei P30 is expected to launch alongside the P30 Pro. The P30 Pro will also sport a dewdrop notch design. Both the phones are expected to have triple camera setup instead four. They should be physically smaller, with presumably, a smaller battery too.
The front side of the phone will have a waterdrop notch housing a front-facing camera. A 2.5D curved OLED panel with a 2340×1080 resolution and an optical fingerprint scanner built-in. Three main cameras will be aligned vertically on the device. The smaller fourth sensor sits to the side, underneath the LED flash module. This oddly-positioned lens is likely a time of flight (ToF) sensor. It can be used for depth-of-field detection and potentially 3D mapping capabilities.
It is also said that these phones with be quiet expensive. Huawei P30 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will cost €749 (£640). The higher-spec Huawei Pro P30 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage will reportedly cost €999 (£855). And a 256GB variant will cost €1,099 (£940). It is also said there will be 512 GB model but the prices are not out yet.
If this was less exciting, Huawei is also expected to launch Mate 30 Pro launch later this year.
