Four Shanghai Tourists hurt in a Malaysian Bus Accident


Four Shanghai tourists were severely injured in a transport mishap in Sabah, Malaysia on Friday.
The bus they were traveling in met with a serious accident.

The bus was carrying 16 Shanghai tourists in all when it lost control and toppled, CCTV announced.

A 37-year-elderly person endured a break to his vertebra and rib, CCTV stated, citing the local police.

One endured cuts on his hands while two others had their hands and feet injured.

Three of the injured have just been released from the hospital, as indicated by the emergency department of the Shanghai Administration of Culture and Tourism.

One is as of now getting treatment at a neighborhood medical clinic and is in a steady condition.

Moreover, all the harmed were male, and the 16 visitors are aged between 24 and 49 years, CCTV revealed. Four are ladies, and they are all members of the same tour group.

Every one of the 12 male and four female tourists on the bus come from Shanghai, China.

Also, Police said the transport, driven by a local, lost control all of a sudden and overturned in a roadside discard.

District Police Chief, Supt Mohd Zaidi Abdullah, said that the initial reports showed that the transport driver lost control. He skidded off the street and landed in a drop before the bus collapsed. The case is being investigated under Section 43 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, he said. – R Gonzales
