Francesco “Franky Boy” Cali, an alleged 53-year-old Reputed Gambino crime boss, was reported to be shot dead Wednesday night. Cali was shot a few times in the torse in the Todt Hill area of Staten Island. the New York Post detailed. The occurrence occurred at around 9:20 pm. He was hurried to Staten Island University Hospital North, where he was reported dead.

A neighbour of Cali’s told the New York Times that he heard a burst of around seven shots soon after 9 p.m.

“I simply heard the Pow-pow-pow-pow-pow,” said the 58-year-old, who recognized himself to the paper as Salvatore.
