According to the reports of the Niagara Region Public Health, an adult in Niagara nearby Pearson Airport was confirmed with the fact of adult measles on 22nd February.
A person caught up Measles infection while travelling in Cambodia and China before returning to Toronto stated by Niagara Region Public Health.
Everyone present there was questioned by the agency in the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital emergency room or first-floor X-Ray unit in Grimsby on Feb. 27 between the hours of 3 p.m. and midnight to seek for signs and symptoms. The agencies are ensuring that their vaccinations are up to date and they are trying to reach as many as possible.
The flights through Toronto Pearson International Airport and airports in Cambodia and China can also be under the exposure of this infection.
They include –
-Departing Flight, Siem Reap, Cambodia on Cathay Pacific Flight #5249 at 11:20 a.m.
-Arriving Flight, Hong Kong, China, Cathay Pacific #5249 at 3 p.m.
-Departing Flight, Hong Kong, China, Air Canada #16 at 4:30 p.m.
-Arriving Flight, Toronto Pearson International Airport, Terminal 1, Air Canada #16 at 6:20 p.m.
-Toronto Pearson International Airport from 6:20 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Niagara Public Health is investigating the case of measles in Niagara. And is cautioning anyone who may have been exposed and report back to nearby hospitals or to the agencies as soon as possible.
